I get arrested every year and post bail for Muscular Dystrophy....It sends kids to Summer Camp.
Bail is $2,400....It's fun and fulfilling.

I volunteer with the Service to the Armed Forces Division of the Red Cross. I get to continue to work with and help my fellow veterans, active duty military and their families. I also volunteer with Give An Hour (pro bono mental health for military/vets) and COPS Kids (Kids who had a parent die in a line of duty)

I've wanted to volunteer for STEM stuff, helping with Naval Sea Cadets, Civil Air Patrol, JROTC and ROTC programs, also at VA, trying to help with clinical research, if my disability rules might allow it, of ne eager for more chat about this, when you might have time, or anyone else seeing this, thinaks....

I have volunteered many times in my life (and have recognitions hanging on my wall) I tend to be selective, focusing on those serving children. But, now in my twilight years, I donate my time and energy to helping veterans. I was drawn to the cause when I heard of the poor treatment they were receiving at the hands of government agencies.

I used to be very active in my VFW and with The Honor Bell Foundation. At present, I try to volunteer with activities and organizations that will prepare me for my new career upon graduating. Actually, I just did an activity on Thursday where I volunteered to grade/evaluate the essays written as a part of a middle/high school STEM learning competition.

I volunteer a lot! Maybe more than I should. Nonetheless, I have two main areas in which I volunteer. I give my time to my church in the form of Men's Ministry. Otherwise, I put in a lot of time with veterans. My main veteran activities involve Stand Down events. Here in my are, Roseville, CA I am on the county line and am blessed with the opportunity to volunteer in two counties. I have spent time with VFW projects. Anytime an event comes along that is veteran related, such as Vietnam Veteran Day or the Moving Wall, I am sure to get right in there.

I used to help the local conservation club with the hunter safety course, now my wife and I help kids in church.
