Do you want proof that self prophecy exists? This thief wore a t-shirt that explained it all.

I am reminded of a couple of guys in Sarver PA that stole a front loader from a job site and pulled a PNC ATM up off of its drive through island, loaded it into a borrowed pickup truck, took it and buried it in the back yard of the home of one of the men.

The owner of the pickup truck was upset at the damage they did to his truck, which led the police to the thief's door. When the police questioned the thieves they freely admitted what they had done.

When the cop asked one of them why he had done it he said "Whenever Jack and I get to drinking we end up doing stupid crap".
