I've seen several posts lately that circled around the subject of self hate. Self hate is when you put yourself down, when you limit yourself, when you self bully. Maybe you were ran over by the machine, knocked down, flattened, demoralized, survived when others didn't or had some other event that thrust you into a cycle of self hate. If you're doing this it's important that you receive help, surround yourself with positive people, don't self medicate (drink alcohol, take other people's medication, take illegal drugs). Don't sit alone and let these things perpetuate and become self fulfilling prophecies. Join groups, exercise, get involved, get help, reach out.

CPT (Join to see), I am a good person-basically-in every other regard; but I go into rages/tears- and swear and cuss-usually-in my mind.
My psychiatrist Has diagnosed me as having that PTSD....from all of the things that have harmed me.
I realize that these traumatic experiences must have made me VERY angry; but not at another person. When my parents abused me; I stayed passive. Rape, same thing. MST, same thing.
You get the idea...
Nowadays, I beat myself up like crazy; within the walls of my home; because I think that I am Such a sinner.

You are most welcome; CPT (Join to see). Yes, I consider myself as one of the fortunate ones; as I overcame all of the challenges that I faced.
I was severely mentally ill; for some Twenty-Seven years. (!?!)
During that time: I quit cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs. (I quit drugs; before that span of time. (During my college and university years.)
