Doctorate Program and Scholarships for Active Duty Officers?

I am 1LT Nyan Reynolds. I am an active duty officer. I completed my MPH in 2017. I recently applied to a doctorate program in strategic leadership and seeking information for scholarships provided to active duty officers.

My goal is to start school fall 2019. I've completed my application and most likely will get accepted to the school. My GPA in grad school was 3.67. I was told I can use tution assistance? I am not sure.

I used my Post 9/11 benefits to pay for grad school. Any information that could lead to a potential scholarship would be greatful.

1LT Nyan Reynolds does the school participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program? Participating schools have different Packages. You can try a website called FASTweb. It is a grant and scholarship aggregator. They brief it at SFL TAP when you do the education track. You can see about TA. It is capped and may not put a dent in the bill.

There are possible fellowships and advanced civil schooling, look on HRC's website behind the CAC curtain. Rand Arroyo is one of them. Issue is Branch chooses the degree Area. None of them are guaranteed and they are highly competitive. ACS is also capped by 18 months max, which doesn't align with the meandering 7 year journey of a doctorate degree.

Unfortunately, there's no tuition assistance for PhD programs. They are specifically prohibited from TA because the Army has doctorate programs. Most of them are extremely competitive and most of them are AMEDD programs as well. I'm not aware of any in your chosen field.
You can start running down leads with the School for advanced military sciences, and also this document for Advanced civilians schooling.
