Does 38B plus OCS qualify one for 38A or would I have to do the whole pipeline again?

I am a 68W and a Paramedic. I would like to go to CAAS and become a CA Medic, but I would also like to commission. Does 38B + OCS qualify one for 38A or would I have to do the whole pipeline again? Thanks.

No.
You have to pick your path. Assuming you are qualified to go CA (you are not until you are an E-4), you could apply for CAAS and go the enlisted route.
Officers have a different pipeline, and requires that you commission as another branch and then convert when you are a Sr LT or Captain by going through the CA officer course.
You can do both eventually, but one is not a shortcut for the other. You need to do the full Monty.

Are you discussing active duty or reserve CA. Reserve start out as E1. As to the officer side does not matter you will have to do the officer pipeline.

For active duty, you would still go through the officer pipeline after being a 38B, though you would not have to repeat CAAS.

You would have to go through the officer pipeline to earn your 38A!
