Does a flag for weight and tape immediately cancel PCS orders?

I have a soldier who has orders to PCS he is worried that do to his profile limitations for pt that he may have not passed weigh and tape. Will his orders be canceled immediately if he becomes flagged ?

No. A Soldier can PCS with a flag in place

A Flag for the Army Body Composition is a transferable flag and a Soldier can PCS. But if he is on a profile and it is not permenant you can no longer PCS on a temporary profile.

Certain flags will cause a stop movement. Others will transfer withe the individual. Flags for APFT or ht/wt are transferrable.

Suspension of Favorable Personnel Actions (Flag)

Transferable Flags
H Punishment phase.
J APFT failure.
K AWCP.

2–3. Circumstances requiring a transferable Flag
A Soldier flagged under the provisions of this paragraph may be reassigned to another unit by following guidance in paragraph 2–8. The specific actions listed below require initiation of a transferable Flag (see table 2–1). More than one Flag may be required concurrently.

So, he is good.

The SM may PCS with a transferrable flag if it does not require a reenlistment to meet SRR. The SM may not reenlist while flagged.
