Does a single E-6 Soldier receive BAH while on assignment in Kuwait? I am thinking about taking an assignment, but would like to know the financial aspects of it.

Are they billeting out in town? Insufficient quarters on-base? If not, I doubt it.

Yes as all members stated as long as you still have a place back in states.

Best thing would be to contact admin personnel there, they will have the most up to date, legal regs. They change a surprising amount.

I was in Kuwait in 2014, and they billeted everyone on post and everyone ate at the mess hall now I know our replacements got temporarily moved out of country due to the increase in personnel with all the stuff that was going on to fight ISIS but they moved back to Kuwait after a few months once they had everything worked out.
