Does AGR time count as Active Federal Service when referring to HRC Business Rules for Prior Service attempting to go to Active Duty?

There are two types ARG, Title 10 and Title 32. They both count as military Active Duty time.

That's an interesting question...one of our friends had been USNR, though never activated, he and one of the pastors at the Pentecostal church we go to aren't able to fall under the VA, the pastor had been NY ARNG, he'd never been activated either, plus, his training was paid for using NY State, not Federal funds, so, as I'd said, that is interesting, certainly...honest, I'd ask all three Congress offices where you are, and let them all send letters to ask, you know? Just a thought, in any event, I'd be eager to hear more, certainly....

It all boils down to the net active time your NGB 22 will state.

The Guard, I have no clue but for the Reserve, yes. It is active duty time. Have you seen your 1506? That’s a break good breakdown.

AGR counts as active duty, hence the term Active Guard Reserve.
