It would make sense for my last deployment to El Salvador since it was in some outskirt city. But I&#39;ve since pcs&#39;d and the award jacket came with no orders. I&#39;m in the process of trying to track down someone from that S1(unit disbanded), but if anyone can confirm this for me I would appreciate it. I&#39;m trying to iron out my file for the 7 board. This one made me have to go learn about these new ARCOM devices.<br /><br />This HRC page describes the ACMR as a ARCOM Commendation Medal w/R device:<br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/Data%20Codes%20Listing">https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/Data%20Codes%20Listing</a><br /><br />This HRC page says the R device is intended only to recognize achievements which directly impact combat operations:<br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/C%20and%20R%20devices">https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/C%20and%20R%20devices</a><br /><br />The C and R devices are fairly new, implemented on devices on March 15, 2017 and only retroactive to January 7, 2016.
