Unless POTUS signs a waiver no one can be directed to take the vaccine, only encouraged. The current priorities for Militray are front line Healthcare Workers (ICU/ER), critical support staff, and Emergency Services (Police and Fire Dept.). The main force can expect to see the vaccine as early as Feb-Mar 2021. The efficacy of both vaccines is very high (90-94%) when compared to the Flu Vaccine (50%).
