Also, 91 series is all working on the same equipment basically, everyone works together and crosstrains at the unit levels. 91 everything doing 91 all the things a/c, vehicle services, troubleshooting. The Army may separate the specific skill set training but all in all a mechanic is a mechanic. In my day a 91C was a LVN(Licensed Vocational Nurse) that worked in hospitals or at Battalion stations. In that amount of time you acquire you 609, 608, and type 1&amp;2 certification for life and it can be used on the civilian side also you will learn the basic troubleshooting skills and different types of machines and also HMVs. And for switching over to the civilian side you have ur credintials so that makes it alot easier.
