Even though I am retired, I still wear the ASU for certain events and when those do come up, I get out the same can of Brasso that I used my entire career. I never did polish any Oak Leaf clusters because they were such a pain to get off and on without damaging the ribbons and then when I went with thin-mount ribbons, that was not an option anymore. Polishing brass is a skill that is going away but it is something I will do as long as I can wear the ASU.Response by COL Jon Thompson made Mar 19 at 2016 9:40 PM2016-03-19T21:40:28-04:002016-03-19T21:40:28-04:00TSgt David L.1390823<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I did early in my career but later I started using a pencil eraser.
