But other times my email/phone starts blowing up with posts that make me scratch my head and say why. I do believe some will post just for the sake of buildng up those points.

Lind of what I'm doing right now. Does anyone get the feeling some post just for the points? 2015-03-02T23:04:15-05:00 1SG(P) Private RallyPoint Member 508051

I love reading the posts on here. I believe everyone does it sometimes, though. It's the same with tagging someone. However, in another way, it does encourage people to continue a conversation and many times contribute with relevant information from personal experience and/or newfound facts and resources. There are also people who seem to be on EVERY thread for some reason...as if everything posted has the utmost meaning in their lives. Sometimes I wonder what else they do. Of course my responding to this could be seen as this, just as your posting can, but I most recently saw the awards for the most influential person of the month. If people weren't doing it strictly for the points before, they might now. That's a pretty cool bottle opener. I may find myself creating memes and spending all day asking what color their favorite unit coin is.
