My S1 sent me a screenshot of the "requisition information" page on webEDAS. It shows I'm on assignment instructions to Fort Gordon's 15th Signal Brigade. I am not signal, I'm electronic warfare (17E). It also shows under DML, THS. I looked that up and it means "Trainee/Student/Patient/Hold status Personnel ACC". I was wandering if anyone would have some insight on any of this. I know at some point I'll have a clarified answer, but I would like to try and understand some of what's going on sooner rather than later. Thank you for any input!

They probably are going to make you a instructor. My assignment office cw5 Les Craig a friend of mine from Schinnen the Netherlands called me and said how would you like to be the the senior tac at WOSC? I said Les. I am not a babysitter. He called again and said how about the COMSEC custodion at the Pentagon. I said Les take my number out of your roladex. I did my tour in the beltway.

SSG (Join to see) Even though you are not Signal Branch, you are assigned to 15th SG BDE because they are the major command for the school house there. When I was at Fort Gordon, as a student, I was assigned to the OD BN under 15th (I was prior service at the time). I had orders to 15th. As an instructor, you would be assigned to 15th, and then they will probably send to the appropriate BN as Cadre.

So, no you are not signal, but the base is and 15th is MACOM, so you get assigned to 15th. Do this help?

SGT Javier Silva Hm that makes sense. That might be what the system means. That helps clear some of it up. Thank you!

Is the purpose for compassionate?

If then approved, your assignment location is for the purpose of the compassionate assignment.
