These programs including TAP are long on the what's and short on the how's. I filled in the gap by running a transition mentoring program while I was doing my Civil Service job, especially if they were looking for Fed work. I would hope some of the veteran owned transition NFP outfits would provide similar support. Transitioning can be a very lonely road. Having a good wing man/woman helps a lot. CAPT Kevin B.
