The NCO should be rated in a MTO&E slot and the sponsorship should be an additional duty. There should not be a need for a duty description just some bullets. You are not doing the NCO any justice rating them in a position that doesn't technically exist....unless they're a turd and even that isn't cool just give them an evaluation based on their performance. It is not an MTOE position, so please don't let anyone tell you it is. It is definitely an additional duty position. Grab your bullets, document them on your NCOER and ensure your rater slots you in an MTOE position. Pray for orders and move out smartly, and don't stay at one installation too long. PCS!!!!
