I was recently invited by a former army nurse who worked at 93rd Evac Hospital (Long Binh) and 95th Evac Hospital (Da Nang) in Vietnam to join her and her friends for an organized tour of Vietnam including our former hospital sites.  Unfortunately, this tour was full up before I could make arrangements to go.

All that said, I'm potentially interested in revisiting old Vietnam stomping grounds.

Does anyone here have any experience / opinion of any Vietnam tour operators?

The tour group my friend is using is http://www.vietnambattlefieldtours.com/

I will be most grateful for any experience / opinion you may be able to share.

Warmest Regards, Sandy ( http://www.linkedin.com/in/armynurse )

I think that revisiting any battlefield is worth while. My Father-in-Law [USMC LTC Ret] had a few of his friends revisit where they were stationed in Vietnam.<div><br></div><div>Have a safe and enlightening trip</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers</div>

I hear the tour operators do a good job, I know a few that have gone and took the tour and and was very happy with it. <br>

Join nearly 2 million former and current members of the US military, just like you.
