Does anyone have any experience or knowledge pertaining to the Silver Siege program for officers transitioning from AD to Guard/Reserves?

Thanks for the response. I'm currently stationed in Europe and have a service obligation that ends in November of 2018. I would like to transition into the reserves or the guard next summer, which means I would leave the active Army 4-6 months before my term is up. By that time I should be a Major as my board is next month. Most information on the Silver Siege program on the web is vague. So I'm just trying to find out if it is possible as a Major stationed in Germany to transition 4-6 months prior to ADSO. I heard Silver Siege was one way to move to the reserves/guard up to a year before ADSO which is why I'm inquiring. I am speaking with RCC recruiters here in Germany but they aren't knowledgeable in the program and it seems to be taking them weeks to get an answer. Again, thanks.
