I'm trying to develop some new ways to teach CLS or 68W skills with it, but I do not want to buy a GoPro or 100 mph tape it to an ACH. The two pictures show what I think is required to effectively mount it to ones ACH, but I cannot find a NSN for either item. What I'm really asking is, 1. Have you ever used one and was it efficient? Are the items required to mount to an ACH more likely a civilian item or do you think they could be ordered through supply? Thank you for your time. They WILL know it. They want these things to move, and getting an NSN assigned is a "Holy Grail" item for a Government Vendor. Just call them and ask them for a quote with GOV rate and tax exemption for the ACH ARC Helmet Rail system. Get a GPC request form approved and buy the items. I haven't seen those rails on MILSTRIP yet. Please let me know if you find an NSN for them. They will have the NSN (if assigned). You can use a DD 1348-6 to request the parts you need if you have the part numbers and a manufacturer. I think it is an A0B DIC (part number requisition). I'm not sure how you do this in GSS Army if you are using that software system now. I've been out for a decade so I'm a bit rusty. If you can't do the above, and your command will approve the request, contact the manufacturer directly and use a GPC to make a micro contracting purchase. Hope that helps.
