Any information you can give me on the Mos 15T, and moving up to a Crew Chief on the Uh-60s, it would be much appreciated. I join in less than a month and would like to know how much knowledge about mechanics I need to know to be successful in the Mos. As well as the progression to Crew Chief. AIT, etc?

Our family friend, as well as numerous others, both on here, as well as off the site, just friends, have mentioned this is a quite rough program, evidently, which I'd long gathered to be the case...that being said, it only needs high school, so, for that reason, if you haven't looked at it thus far at all, I'd just thought you might care to...if you'd care to chat more, I have an interest in career/educ topics, so, if you'd wanna elaborate on assocs, bach, grades, GPA, STEM coursework, aspirations, senior NCO, warrant, commissioned, I'd gladly be willing to send you a good deal more, if you'd be so inclined, though, of course, that'd obv be for you to decide, certainly, I have a good deal I often send to others with such threads as yours, if you'd care to see it at all, I just didn't want to overwhelm you, that's all I'm saying, of course, no rush, whenever you'd want, OK?

I'd sent this into the site, as well as on various threads, esp for those possibly wanting Army WOCS for rotary wing...we have a family friend who'd been Army enlisted, went that route, got his bach in aviation through Embry-Riddle, then Army released him, USCG picked him up, he finsihed his 20 yrs as a USCG O-3 rotary-wing pilot...I'm not saying you'd want that, I just thought you might find the story of possible interest...I've looked at the book on here, it's a freebie, I'd download the whole thing, bind it as a text, and seriously go through it, those I'd sent it to on here for Army WOCS aspirations have mentioned, esp in one case, that it was quite good prep for the SIFT, the Army WOCS rotary-wing exam...purely another thought, of course....
