Does anyone have info about Army program that supplements/pays for gym membership when you are assigned far away from an Army Base/Post?

No, but add more tags - "fitness", "exercising", "strength training", and "working out".

Have you heard of this before or simply asking out of curiosity? Depending on your goals, you may be able to get by simply using your vest and a nearby park.

Check with your local command. When I was recruiting in NY our command paid for memberships to Gold's Gym. If not, see if your local supply can afford basic stuff to make a weight room somewhere in your unit.
