Does anyone have information on an Army duty station in Key West?

I'm looking at my next assignment and saw that there is an opening in Key West. Wondering if anyone knows anything about where I could be working there?

Key West is where the Army has its Combat Diver Qualification Course. It is the only Army unit I am aware that is down there, but I don't see where you would fit in with your MOS. There is a small Navy installation there too if I remember correctly so maybe the slot you are looking at is a joint billet?

I went on a line haul mission to Key West once. Bunch of Nayy Seebees downloading our trucks drinking beer in shorts.

I saw that there is a Joint Interagency Task Force that is based out of the Naval Base

If you are a 35N - ask branch to send you to the CSG (Cryptologic Support Group) down there. They belong to the 704th MI BDE out of Ft Meade. They were in my B Company when I was the CSM of the 741st MI BN, but they might have gone to the 742d BN also at Meade during the latest reorg.

While I was stationed in Key West in the Navy, I also worked with an Army Ranger at a local bar, Rangers have a jump school there. They may do more than that, but I did not ask. There was also Southern Command post there which had all branches of service working there.
