Does anyone have information or experience with HRCI (Human Resources Certification Institute) certifications?

Has it benefited anyone? Does anyone know someone that has one of the certifications? I've been asking S1 reps about this program and no one knows what I'm talking about, much like when I asked about SRB (Soldier Record Brief) months ago.

I have held my SPHR certification since just before retiring and I think it was a primary factor in selection for two post Army jobs I have held. SHRM also has their own HR certification progrm and I just received that designation as well - time to update the resume. :)

My husband has been telling me to do it for a while I have been lazy but I know a little of what you are talking about

I have taken the PHR, it will do you no good in the military as it is a civilian certification program. This is normally taken by those nearing retirement and looming to pursue a job in HR in the civilian sector.

I have held my SPHR since December 2015 and highly recommend getting certified.
