Cpl Private RallyPoint Member 2332855

I'm a prior service Marine, I did my four years and got out with an Honorable Discharge as a Corporal. I'm a Firefighter and EMT-B with my local part time department. I've been thinking about joing the Navy reserves to become a FMF Corpsman. So I'm looking for some insight on the matter from anyone that went through roughly the same situation. Does anyone have insight on transitioning from prior-service Marine to a Navy Reserve Corpsman? 2017-02-11T20:36:59-05:00 Cpl Private RallyPoint Member 2332855

I'm a prior service Marine, I did my four years and got out with an Honorable Discharge as a Corporal. They don't require them to have an EMT.
If you went army you skip the whole EMT and just do the combat medic "whiskey" training. Not sure if you'd have to go to basic. I think it depends on how long you've been out.

Get to a recruiter! He kept E5 and will be going to HM school later this year.
