They don&#39;t require them to have an EMT.<br />If you went army you skip the whole EMT and just do the combat medic &quot;whiskey&quot; training. Not sure if you&#39;d have to go to basic. You&#39;ll go though A school In San Antonio Texas it&#39;s about 4 months depending on how you do minimum is four months.
