Does anyone have suggestions for potential places to live off post? We are looking for neighborhoods with great high schools.

I used to live in Odenton, it was very convenient and the neighborhood was quiet. Of course that was 9 years ago, things may have changed since then. Good luck!

Howard County MD is a great place to live. However, it is very expensive there; unless find the right spot. I have lived in the Laurel section of Howard for the past 3 years. If you want google and call the ladies at the Country Meadows apartments and ask for Makita she is one of the managers. They are very friendly.
I moved in to Country Meadows, because of the school in it zone. (not Laurel high school) the size of the bed rooms.
The City of Laurel is encompasses four different counties.

We bought in Severna Park because of the schools. Arnold also had really good ones.
