Does anyone in the field have any workarounds in iPERMS to make the process of fixing a soldier's ERB less painful?

I have been tasked as iperms operator for my reserve unit as the AGR since we have limited staff. I have been trying to fix a Soldiers erb but when i click on awards docs the image doesnt load at all, i just get a blank screen. Ive tried on IE and chrome from a mil computer with no fix. Does anyone in the field have any work arounds to make this process less painful, or does iperms always just do what it wants and load some images but not others?

I haven't had any issues. It does take a significate time to load. I usually answer and email or two and come back to it before it loads.
Also check your PDF install for latest version.
You can email or IM me and I can try to pull your SM info.

SSG Private RallyPoint Member Try doing compatibility view in Internet Explorer. IPERMS is very slow and sometimes you may think it isn't loading but in fact it actually is. Sometimes I will hit the zoom button in and out and it makes it pop up. Those are the things I usually do, but one thing for sure it is insanely slow at times.

At the top of the frame, did you click the box for "view as original"?
You can also download the Soldier's entire record in about 2-4 min then review the docs offline. In the zip file there will be an xml page and an html page, those are the index lists with links to each doc.

It's not you, sometimes the new iPerms just sucks. There are days when I have to open the same document ten times before it really loads.

The zoom buttons usually work for me. Keep pressing to make smaller until you see something then you can make it larger. But make sure you wait for it to completely load because it is extremely slow.

Try "save as pdf" and save it to your desktop. It should show that way. You can delete the file once you are done. That has happen to me plenty of times.
