As a PV2 in 18th Airborne Corps, be prepared to do every shit detail that comes down the pike and do them with a smile.

Hopefully you have been to airborne school. You really don't want to be a leg at Bragg.

Maintain a good run time, stretch and roll out to avoid shin splints, parade rest when speaking to NCOs and address them appropriately "yes/no, sergeant"
Take your general knowledge packet and learn that thing right away.
When they ask for guys to do a detail step to it, you're a brand new private, earn your place at your company.
Keep your uniform squared away, don't walk around looking all messed up. Clean boots that you never take to the field, fresh uniform, no strings hanging from it etc...
I would recommend download the 82nd Abn Divpam from the apple/Google play store and reading over it.

I can tell you that you are not going to the 18th Airborne Corps. If you are already Airborne qualified, you are going to be 82nd oh, and if you are not Airborne qualified you are going to the 18th fires Brigade. The email you received will say 18th Airborne Corps, because that is who owns the reception battalion.

There were legs in the 18th, a combat engineer unit at Bragg, I used to blow up their training bridges and roads.

Once if you pass ABN, then someone in the Corps, depending on your MOS will get you.Google XVIII Abn Corps- you will probably a dozen = units assigned to the Corps- 832nd, 101st, 10th Mtn, XVIII Arty, etc, etc.

You will hit reception and aic before anything there they will give you the knowledge you need if you connect with the right people.. most likely coming to the good old 82nd depending on your mos... 82sus could be a possibility as well just like they said 18th airborne just means you’ll be in the airborne unit and hate your life if you don’t act accordingly. Just shut up parade rest right place right uniform RIGHT TIME! We don’t mess around with being late only people allowed to be late are you 1sgt commander and higher. run run run, learn pre jump and you’ll be good to go lol

Ok the 18th ABC most likely isn't your unit, Fort Bragg and Fort Campbell and some other places do all under the 18th ABC.
