Does anyone know how they're going to do PT tests for trainings like ALC, BLC, etc.?

I'm planning on going to blc this year and gonna do what I can to get my stripes. I have a passing APFT and once gyms open back up I'll be crushing it again just had AT so i'm passing it anyways but that's here nor there.
My main question is what are they gonna do for these classes that require a passing APFT be taken at class? Are they going to go against reg and force record apfts, or do you think they'll wave that aspect and just continue with the rest of the training?

To my knowledge, at the moment with covid, your last standing PT score is the score they will use for your BLC class. I just completed BLC a few months ago as well as friends of mine have gone even more recently and this has been that current practice.

Need to see what the welcome letter states when you get it. Right now APFT is waived due to COVID at most schools. BLC or eBLC requires to submit a passing DA705 or 5500 if necessary. Most schools are following EXORD 164-20

Last I heard, if you have a valid (ie passing) APFT score for FY20 it is good until March 2022. No adverse actions will be taken due to PT failure.

If you've already passed your PT test for this FY 20, then you will NOT be required to take another PT Test for BLC. Also SMA stopped PT Tests until 2022, so each year you'll be taking the ACFT Diagnostic test instead of an actual PT test until 2022.

I am in BLC right now. They are not doing a pt test but will require a passing apft within 60 days of start date. At least here in Camp Humphreys, Korea. If they visually determine you are out of standards they will height and height you though. Keep in mind this is only because of Covid-19 usually they should do a pt test.

Per the last directive from Big Army, all passing APFT/ACFT (regardless of timeframe due to COVID) will be used for the packet at the PME. Same for Weapons qual. For example, if your last passing APFT/ACFT was prior to the COVID outbreak, that passing APFT/ACFT will be used. If you failed an APFT/ACFT, then you will need to take one IOT have a passing APFT/ACFT for your PME.

Use this standard and you cannot go wrong. Treat whatever school you are planning to attend just as if COVID 19 was not going on. Keep yourself in top physical condition to pass the APFT and be prepared to take an APFT. That way, should there be a change, ie a command that decides no really, you are going to take an APFT, you will not be caught flat footed.

The guidance right now until at least 2022 is that if you have a passing APFT you do not have to take an APFT. If you have a failing APFT you can be required to take an APFT to remove the flag etc.

I took your question as asking are they doing the APFT AT the PME course. From what I heard about BLC since March, I don't think they were doing the PT test AT the school house. I could be wrong but I thought I had heard that. They just used the last passing APFT for the packet.

Every school I attended they used the current PT test.
