Does anyone know how to remove orders that were entered in error?

Problem: I am trying to get Tricare reserve select but Milconnect shows I am on active duty.

Background: I am in the reserves and I was originally slotted to go on a deployment last august but due to schooling restrictions, I wasn't able to make it in time. I was removed from the roster and went back to my original platoon. During this time (Feb. 2021) they had active duty orders made for me as if I was going, but subsequently submitted the revocation in march. The revocation was approved and I have both in my IPERMS. Unfortunately, somewhere in the process of revoking the orders, they didn't completely come out of the system (I'm not the only one in my unit this happened to). I am not being paid as active duty and most systems show me as a reserve soldier, but milconnect shows me as being on those active duty orders through this September. I have spoken with Tricare who also shows I am active duty, DEERS who claim that they can't do anything, HRC who says they just make the orders and send them to the unit, and my unit S1 who told me to "just tell Tricare that you are reserves and they will take your word for it". They only people that even remotely tried to help was DMDC who had me send them the orders and revocation, but said they most likely couldn't do anything. At this point I am so tired of running around getting told it is on someone else to fix. I would get outside healthcare but the college I am in stopped offering it last year, I cant afford regular healthcare and the New York state low income program doesn't let you apply if you qualify for any other healthcare program, i.e. Tricare. If anyone knows who I should really be talking to or how I can fix this I would be so grateful.

Take the revoked orders to DEERS and have them update your status.

Don’t call TriCare, they won’t take your word for it and won’t help you. Everything is triggered for them by an updated DEERS. And DEERS won’t do anything until it’s updated by your unit admin. Someone between your unit and HRC are being lazy not addressing the problem. Have any of you with the problem talked to your 1st SGT? Start using your chain of command until a satisfactory outcome is achieved.
