Does anyone know how your APFT score is calculated if you are on permanent profile and you have to do 2.5 mile walk?

There is app for that it calculates it for you just input the info.

Edit to add: This could go two different ways. If you are talking about promotion, you will need to look in a different area. Otherwise, FM 7-22 clearly covers this.

Do you want to be an NCO someday? If so, learn the regs. That's what leaders do. This saves you from embarrassment when someone give you the wrong answer and your telling the 1SG "but so and so said X Y Z".

If you enter it on DTMS and the soldier has a permanent profile it will automatically give you the scored when you enter everything

SPC Lopez, I used to be the training NCO, ask your chain of command for that information. It should be posted in the 1SG, and Commanders Office, that is were all the REGs are located, if not then if their not sure they can contact the next level BDE or Battalion.

BTW, will need to do your walk in so many minutes, check the updated Regs.

BTW, If you plan to stay in the military, I would see if that PROFILE can be Modified at some point, it might limit you on promotion; no one is going to say, until one day you way into the 1SG office and they pull out a REG, and that Profile might come up. It has before with others in my unit(s). Just a word of Advise.

You take your score from your first two event and add together. Once you get that total divide by 2 and that's your score for the walk

If I am not mistaken it's a Go-No Go event, unless your going for the promotion board. Hopefully this link will warrant more information
