I sat down with a college counselor to find out what classes I could do for my promotion when i was enlisted. Here is the info for our ED Cntr if it helps you out. They may have Computer Data Management or can help you with correspondence courses. Here is a link for this if interested. I did plenty of correspondence courses when I was a PFC/SPC to get my points. There will be a list of courses that you may find appealing to sign up for and complete. Hope this helps you out some.

http://www.ezarmypoints.com/army-correspondence-courses/

Fort Benning Ed Center

Army Continuing Education Center
ACES Building 2602, 7184 Collins Loop, S
Ft. Check with your Training Officer. I know I have done a butt load of the FEMA Courses and they are a lot of fun. Once registered this course will appear in ALMS under assigned courses shortly after. This ACCP is consisted of two parts, and each test will take approximately 1 hour each to complete. The total course hours after completing both tests is 158 hours or roughly 31 promotion points.

This is one of the largest course hour programs in ACCP that I know of. Along with myself, I also assisted any promotable E-4's in my fire time in registering for this course. You can easily knock out almost half of your hours this way. Also, it is worth ACE - 3 Semester Hours for Undergraduate programs. Create an account on skillport and take the six sigma classes and the Microsoft desktop classes like excel, PowerPoint, etc. Not only will you get promotion points, but they will also transfer over as college credits as well. Good luck. If not, Once you log-in go into the catlog section and do all of the ace college credit courses all of those courses are worth points. THe courses are long and the point yield is low. If you want points faster max out your pt and weapons qual scores. A max score in each of those together yield 280 points....160 for pt, 120 for qual. They are worth 80hrs each. You have to register through ATRRS, you can find this through AKO (My Training) and when you get the confirmation email you then log into JKO and search in Curriculum (*this is IMPORTANT! Make sure it is Curriculum, not Individual Courses. I had to take the German couse twice because of this) then enroll in the language you selected in ATRRS.

I've taken three languages and got 80hrs for each.

Hope this helps Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 28 at 2015 9:36 AM 2015-10-28T09:36:26-04:00 2015-10-28T09:36:26-04:00 2014-05-29T12:02:17-04:00
