SPC Paul Byler 4891022 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I purchased a couple sets at Benning, and was told yesterday by a random SSGT that they’re not authorized at bases where clothing and sales doesn’t have them yet. My understanding was that they have been approved army wide but due to demand have not yet been able to be stocked at all bases as of yet. If it’s agains the regs I’ll take them off but it seemed to me like more of a jealousy thing than his actually knowing. The typical I’m a SSGT you’ll do X. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Unless your post has a policy stating they can&#39;t be worn until they&#39;re sold on your post.....then wear them. Personally, I would ask the SSG to show me the policy or reg that states I can&#39;t wear them if the stores don&#39;t sell them

Also, that is a very &quot;army&quot; answer of if you cant buy it here you cant wear it. <br /><br />To play it safe I would ask your PSG and then if they say yes you could tell anyone who does question you that your supervisor told you yes and go with that.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If it’s within the AR, you can wear it. Just like other uniforms such as Crye precision is within the AR. He’s just a salty bitter old SSG.
