Does anyone know what I can expect as E-3 headed to Ft Gordon assigned to 116 MI HHC Aerial IN as a 35F?

Have fun at NSAG! I worked with some 35N’s there. The Army is the smallest contingent which is kinda funny considering the base but it will be fine.

I had AIT, their, take it for what its worth, you need learn golf at the PGA, I did in 1986. They also have cyberspace &cyber unit.

You'll be in Back Hall or the Luketina scif most likely. Get off base as much as possible. Check out Broad Street in augusta, ga and the riverwalk. Get gas in south carolina, it's cheaper. Go to DFAC 8, next to back hall---next best one is the one at the hospital. All others in-between (you'll know exactly what I mean-- DFAC 8 and the hospital are on opposite sides of base) are the AIT DFACS and the portions are tiny. DFAC 8 has soul food Wednesdays with Oxtails, baked Mac and Cheese, etc...my favorite. DFAC 4 or 5 is open at midnight and that food is the best. If you are married, look at Evans, GA or Grovetown if buying a house. Stay away from any house near Gordon Highway or Hepzibah, GA. Travel to Charleston, SC and Atlanta, GA. Dont go a single MPH over the speed limit on base, those MP's are ridiculous. Stay away from the AIT folks. Get a Costco membership. Uhhhhhh can't think of anything else really.
