Does anyone know what is the best way to get an assignment at JCSE?

I know most of you will say contact branch. If so, please advise me on what is the best way that I can approach them. I'm in a situation right now where I am basically a one man shop and don't have many people around me that can provide me with insight. I am looking into joining JCSE; mainly because of the training/learning opportunities, and of course, the location.

I appreciate any insight that you can provide. Thank you.

As a E5 branch is not going to talk to you. When I was a CW2 branch did not talk to me. Once I made CW3 they did. They knew I would retire on them. It is who you know SGT. Write a letter to the CSM of JCSE. Include a resume, a paragraph or two why you want JCSE, and why JCSE wants you. I spent 5 years in JCSE, along time ago. There is none better.
