Everyone in the AO is there supporting OIR. The reason I am asking about where your deployed to is because where you literally had your boots on the ground may not qualify for IDP/HZD which would make that area a non combat zone...meaning that zone isn't authorized a patch. For example, there are units in Kuwait that support OIR....but because they are in Kuwait they don't get a patch. Also, if you were in an area that warrants a SSI, then you would simply wear your unit patch if you deployed to that area as a company. We were a specialized scout unit the worked for a Corps level unit. We were tasked down to a division. We got their patch. The multinational division Baghdad was a patch only because it was an assignment they was filled my units. I found one on Amazon (searched CJTF-OIR Pink and Green Patch) but cannot confirm if it it milspec or not. I’m authorized the patch but only have OCP and CSIB since I don’t have the P&Gs yet. Hope this helps. Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 6 at 2022 6:39 AM 2022-04-06T06:39:44-04:00 2022-04-06T06:39:44-04:00 2022-04-02T00:25:21-04:00
