Does anyone stationed on Fort Hood know what unit 2-1 Charlie is?

I don’t know the UIC at this time but I’m just curious. I know its not a whole lot of information.

What BDE? I think its CAV but not positive.

Never heard of it. Generally, when someone at Hood says 2-1, they mean 2nd BCT, 1st CAV. So maybe it's just telling you what Brigade and the Charlie means Cav, not Charlie.

I think it depends on the year. I was at Ft. Hood from 1975 1977, 1985-1990 and that doesn't ring a bell unless it is a National Guard Unit at North Fort or Grey Army Airfield.
