Maybe it's just me but I don't see too many NCO's using a leader's book anymore. I find it to be a helpful tool as a leader and it helps keep things in order and makes it easier to keep track of things. Is there anyone else who still use the leader's book?

I still use it. I might use it more than others because of being a DS, but I think that I'd be lost without it!

I assume they do but just not in the hard copy format like we were required to have in the past. But with all the smartphones,iPhone and tablets out now. I bet they are still being used they are just digital now.

I agree, keeping it on electronic media makes a lot more sense these days. There is also the issue of PII. Carrying around several soldiers contact information, date of birth and other PII in a little book anyone can read these days is just reckless. With a tablet or smartphone it can at least be protected.

Google drives was a big help with my last platoon. I still carried around blank forms and a few other items just so I had then on hand. You can't always find a printer!

SSG (Join to see) I do, even though I am retired it keeps me organized. I used it throughout my career and it was a valued commodity.
