Since the dawn of the digital revolution I've been using Photodex to edit all my videos and to turn my photos into a hybrid slide show. Here's an example of my "Veterans Newsline" internet TV show, made with Pro Show.

I started with OpenShot and upgraded to kdenlive. It's been working great for me since.

PFC David Ryba - I recommend kdenlive over OpenShot. Let me know how it goes for you, either way.

I'm a creature of habit, so I'm naturally weary of using a program I don't already have in my suite. I watched the first several minutes, and it has some very great transitions, good watermark use, and other options available. Thanks for sharing!

Never heard of them. So that would be a no. The main reason people choose the big guys Premiere Pro, etc. is due to marketability, and the greater likelihood that someone important also uses it. When you take to them about your edits, they know what you're talking about.
