Does anyone wonder how a politician with little money prior to entering office gets rich while in office?

It is not like we don't know how much they get paid.

I stopped wondering a long time ago. The insider trading and other things just pad their pockets while they rob us blind with taxes.

While I acknowledge there is corruption in government, I do not accept the theory all those serving are corrupt.
Yes, I oppose insider trading. Nancy tried to end that with no help from either side.
We complain about this but turn right around and re-elect them. As long as they are not part of the "other" party. We call to "throw the bums out" but we mean "their bums," not ours.
Le's start with pushing our elected officials to re-instate McCain-Feingold.

Nobody said all that are serving in Government are corrupt. What was said is I suspect the corruption goes way deeper than insider trading.
