I've been in 4th ID since March of 2005 and deployed four times. I put in a recruiter packet last summer during my last deployment and branch has been holding on to it since November.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 9 at 2014 4:44 PM2014-03-09T16:44:59-04:002014-03-09T16:44:59-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member118405<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Branch tracks your deployments through EDAS. <br /><br />The first thing you have to understand about movement, is that branch can only PCS movement eligible Soldiers. In order to save costs on frequent PCS moves, branch is directed to move Soldiers around the 3 year mark. So, of all the Soldiers in your rank and MOS, you have to filter out everyone that doesn't have at least 24-30 months on station. Then, remove everyone who has a temporary profile, or medically non-deployable, flagged, Stop Move's, certain AEA codes, etc. In addition, some Soldiers have EFMP and Married Army Couple Program that limit movement options. <br /><br />From that list of what is remaining, your branch manager has to fill the highest priority reqs first, including Drill Sergeant and Recruiting.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made May 4 at 2014 1:42 PM2014-05-04T13:42:56-04:002014-05-04T13:42:56-04:00SGT Alfred Cox136408<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Branch is like Area 51.. it does not exist..lolResponse by SGT Alfred Cox made May 27 at 2014 10:40 PM2014-05-27T22:40:00-04:002014-05-27T22:40:00-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member451679<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Branch tracks everything. Deployments, how long you have been on station, when the last overseas assignment, Skill Identifiers, past jobs. It helps with putting the right person in the right job. Not only is that awesome but it keeps people from trying to keep those cush jobs and get them back in the real army~Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 3 at 2015 4:06 AM2015-02-03T04:06:04-05:002015-02-03T04:06:04-05:00SFC Michael Hasbun3799092<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>In theoryResponse by SFC Michael Hasbun made Jul 16 at 2018 9:11 PM2018-07-16T21:11:52-04:002018-07-16T21:11:52-04:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member4300121<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Short answer, NoResponse by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 19 at 2019 3:34 PM2019-01-19T15:34:12-05:002019-01-19T15:34:12-05:002014-03-08T19:50:43-05:00
