(2) That evidence leads to a grand jury or similar process recommendation to proceed to trial, (3) and the appropriate standard of conviction is used [beyond reasonable doubt, reasonable man, etc.] and (4) she is found guilty then she should be punished in accordance with whatever crimes she is convicted of. One email here or there that is accidentally sent over the wire to the non-secure network, you might get off with some paperwork if it isn't damaging information. If it happens more than once and it contains national security information, you lose your security clearance and possibly face prosecution by courts martial.<br /><br />I think her feet should be held to the fire. The notion of not knowing is no excuse, ignorance is no excuse for not knowing the rules for handing of classified information. And...wasn't she an attorney before. Oh that's right, she got fired from a government job when she was an attorney for making false statements. Not a leader in my book.<br /><br />I hope she is held accountable and prosecuted, revoking her clearance, and given a penalty and prison term per instance...now up to 350.
