Does it upset anyone when the Global War on Terror (OIF/OEF) often only refers to Iraq and Afghanistan?

Doesn't upset me. Iraq and Afghanistan were the major fronts of the war. Probably 95%+ of those who served a deployed in GWOT served in one of those places. The Korean war wasn't solely fought in Korea nor was the Vietnam war solely fought in Vietnam. WW1 and WW2 didn't include the whole world, not even half of it. Don't worry about how things are labeled, be proud of how you contributed. That's all that matters anyway.

LCDR Private RallyPoint Member, I am telling you something you surely already know but OEF & OIF are a part of the Global War on Terror, while there were many that supported us in theater from multiple locations around the globe, the primary duty was in Afghanistan & Iraq.....why would it upset someone? I believe we all understand that everyone took part in the overall mission regardless of where your boots were....

Who put the G in GWOT? Of course it was MAINLY about the 2 main theaters but the fight has world wide reach on one level or another. It doesn't upset me, although it makes me question the sanity of the individual! LOL
