Does Navy football cheat? They do not require you to commit to service for the first two years.

I have been told for years that the Navy football team is so much better than Army given that they recruit and do not require the football players to commit to join the Navy or Marines for the first two years. This would obviously make the pool of recruits broader than the Army that focuses on military commitment. So is this cheating or just smart?

That would not make sense because the Navy has payed for there school so they would have to have a commitment wouldn't they? I thought someone tried to get recruited to the NFL and they still had to serve 2 years. i Could be confusing the branch but they had a story about how in the military academies they had to serve a time frame of in the respective branch.

None of the service schools require a commitment the first two years. You don't incur an obligation until you start your junior year so it's fair across the board.

Until a student (USMA, USAFA, USNA) attend their first class, junior year, there is NO commitment. I say again....NO COMMITMENT. No advantage to any or all.
