Does O-1E pay apply if you were enlisted in a different branch?

Prior service Marine now on in the Army Reserve considering going the officer route if O-1E pay applies to my situation.

Straight out of the DoD FMR:
Creditable Prior Enlisted Service. Commissioned officers in pay grades O-1, O-2, or O-3 who are credited with over 4 years (i.e., at least 4 years and 1 day) of prior active service as an enlisted member are entitled to the special rate of basic pay for pay grade O-1E, O-2E, or O-3E.

Do you have over 4 years of active enlisted service including your IADT time. If so, you will qualify.

Yep. Prior enlisted Army here. I got O1-E pay when I commissioned in the Air Force Reserves and then O2-E and O3-E pay as active duty Navy. It goes away at O4, but by then you're likely maxed out on the pay scale anyway.

It absolutely does. The O-E section of the pay chart requires 4 years and 1 day of prior enlisted service. The branch of service isn’t specified.

When you look at the military pay charts, there are notes in there regarding O-1E-O-3E; it just depends on which one you are looking at. If you were active duty, the points requirement aren't a concern. It is more so for Guard and Reserve where the points are important since they earn points differently than AD

From DFAS it states:
NOTE: COMMISSIONED OFFICERS WITH OVER 4 YEARS ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE
AS AN ENLISTED MEMBER OR WARRANT OFFICER

From Militaryrates.com it states:
Note: The following military pay scale is applicable to O-1 to O-3 with at least 4 years and 1 day of active duty or more than 1,460 points as a warrant and/or enlisted member. See Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation for more detailed explanation on who is eligible for this special basic pay rate.
