Is that possible? And if it is, how long do I have to wait until a job opening comes up? Did optioning to be a navy reserve have an affect on the job availability? <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you want a guaranteed job, go Army. If you want a guaranteed culture, pick a certain branch. Army is the only branch that guarantees all enlistees their MOS prior to enlistment. In the Navy you might have to join as an unrated or as a rate you don&#39;t want.
