SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member 3457416

I am in the reserves and my unit is scheduled to deploy at the end of the month. I have been told that I will be on rear Detatchment because of my on going paperwork to go active duty still being processed. I have been told by other soldiers in my unit that rear D us much different. I was also told that we don't get paid like we normally would.
Thanks Does Rear Detachment pay differ during a deployment? If so, how? 2018-03-18T02:01:08-04:00 SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member 3457416

I am in the reserves and my unit is scheduled to deploy at the end of the month. But I would imagine you won’t be entitled to the same pay as the unit deploying.
You might see an increase in pay for your unit activating. The Personal actually deploy will receive the activated pay plus any deployment entitlements of that particular area.

Hope that helps! I have never heard of it on Active Duty. Response by SFC Joe S. Bit what I have been told is that the pay that we normally get for a Drill weekend will be cut in half Response by SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 18 at 2018 10:13 PM 2018-03-18T22:13:15-04:00 2018-03-18T22:13:15-04:00 2018-03-18T02:01:08-04:00
