Does the 25C MOS require a recruit to pass a red/green color blindness exam?

I am a potential recruit. ill be going to meps in a week or two but i already know im going to fail the color vision dot test. looking over the old mos smart books i noticed that 25c doesnt seem to require color vision. my recruiter is gonna check what jobs dont require it on monday but i thought id ask before then if anyone knows if 25c requires color vision now. thank you and god bless

Yes, normal color vision is a requirement for 25C, unfortunately.

I would imagine it would be a requirement since you have to look at graphs and diagrams as far as I am aware and they may be color coded.

I know when I was in about 2/3 of 25c were color blind.

Don't quote me on this, but I think you can get a waiver for it. I have a few Charlie buddies that are red/green colorblind. I'll ask them and comment with an update.

25C is open to those who are color blind or color deficient.

Only if you want to be Airborne, I think.
