If it&#39;s worse than 20/50, you might be out of the running. Once the Air Force invests a lot of money into you making you a pilot, they may offer you lasik down the road to KEEP you flying, but there are plenty of smart college graduates with excellent vision who want to be pilots. See a recruiter to find out ALL of the qualifications to becoming a pilot. They have an officer/enlisted programs for them. They may have different requirements. I don&#39;t know for sure, but it also be worth asking. I imagine there is some instruction for Navy pilots as well. The physical standards and requirements are similar.
