Does the Air Force offer Lasik surgery?

So I have glasses and want to be a pilot. At first I thought I couldn't, but heard the Air force does Lasik surgery. Is that true?

Have you spoken with an Air Force Recruiter? They would be the SMEs to go to for this.

Damien Maxwell What is your vision? If it's worse than 20/50, you might be out of the running. Once the Air Force invests a lot of money into you making you a pilot, they may offer you lasik down the road to KEEP you flying, but there are plenty of smart college graduates with excellent vision who want to be pilots. See a recruiter to find out ALL of the qualifications to becoming a pilot.

Check on the eyesight requirements for the drone pilots. They have an officer/enlisted programs for them. They may have different requirements. I don't know for sure, but it also be worth asking.

I'm no SME on Air Force regulations, but the Navy recently opened up PRK recipients to SpecWar billets. I imagine there is some instruction for Navy pilots as well. The physical standards and requirements are similar.
