Does the Army still have E-5 Promotion Boards?

Yes they do. I have taken my Soldier to his last month.

Yes. Depending on the Component...the Boards are either In Person or Packet Boards

yes, and there is no plan to get rid of them

There are still SGT and SSG promotion boards - yes. Since covid; however, they did have to change them to either a packet only board or via TEAMS. I think I read something from SMA they are going to possibly change the SGT/ SSG boards a little though. The format.
